This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Those guidelines are the widely used benchmark for websites that work with screen readers, keyboards, magnification and other assistive technology.

Some of the measures built into every page:

Every page can be used with a keyboard alone. A “Skip to content” link is the first thing the keyboard reaches, and the element with focus always shows a visible ring.
Every photograph has a text description, in the language of the page, that a screen reader reads in its place.
Headings, lists, tables and forms use the proper HTML, so assistive technology can tell what each part of the page is.
Primary buttons, the photo-slider controls and the form fields are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
Text and control colours were chosen against the WCAG contrast ratios, and the site works in forced-colours mode.
Text is set in relative units, so it scales with your browser’s zoom and font-size settings.
If your device asks for reduced motion, nothing on the site animates and the background video on the home page does not load. The video has no sound.
When a contact-form field needs attention, the message is written under that field, announced with it, and focus moves there.
Each page declares its language, and every page exists in both English and French.

We check the site with automated tools and by hand as it is built, and we fix what we find. If you meet something these checks missed, we want to know.
